Working in the landscape industry for 30+ years has given our team at Wentworth Landscapes an incredible appreciation for what it means to spend time outdoors. As our renovation department grows, we are committed to creating spaces that continue bringing nature into our lives in the best way possible.
For the guest house pictured here, we achieved this flow by using natural materials like wood and concrete, as well as adding a large sliding patio door to connect the living area to the pool deck. The colour palette contains green, grey, and brown tones to reflect the colours in nature. The result is a stunning build that feels organic and full of life.
Slumber Party
Our woodworking team showed off their amazing craftsmanship when building this structure! The design allows for the whole family to sleep in one room without feeling crowded and uncomfortable. The frame extends the width of the room and has enough space that two twin beds are positioned lengthwise with a large storage compartment between them. The ladders on each side of the room creates a fun and cozy loft feel that everyone can enjoy.
Cozy Up
The fireplace is a simple yet stunning feature that completes the space by adding flow to the living room in a subtle but surprising way. The birch shiplap surround of the fireplace in front of the cream coloured walls creates a light and airy feel that balances the room and let's other design elements shine.
What's Cookin'?
The elements of nature truly start to shine when walking into this show stopping kitchen. Custom woodworking was done to create a beautiful island and matching cabinets using natural wood and a rich cedar finish. Classic white stone countertops, Edison style light fixtures and striking leather bar stools work together to create a space that feels as organic as stepping out the sliding door.
